I love this camera.
This Sony Handycam DCR-SX65 was released in the early 2010's but takes photos and videos more like the early 2000's.
It has USB-A connectivity and the cool software pictured below to download photos from both the internal and external SD-card storage.
I got it about four years ago on eBay, and it initially had a strong tobacco smell. After a gentle cleaning it was good to go.
This camera has traveled with me through a lot. Still going strong.
This software is Picture Motion Browser which was made by Sony primarily for the Cyber-shot/Handycam series.

This kind of aesthetic is called Frutiger Aero and it's one of my favorites. Feels similar Windows Vista/7.
It's really as easy as selecting the photos/videos I want off the camera and hitting Save to PC.
None of the online features seem to work anymore. (Who would've thought?)

I'll post a few photos I took here so you can get the idea of the character of the Handycam.
It captures photos in either 4:3 or 16:9 but I like 4:3 since it's more reminiscent of older technology.
Photos from this camera come out kind of grainy and noisy, especially in low light. Still colors are very bright and vibrant, to me they feel almost dreamlike.
Maybe it's just since I grew up in the 2010s but, the grain and color feels so nostalgic.
